Can I use another caterer or bring my own food?

External caterers are welcomed. DS Event Center offers a $350 discount off of rental rates when selecting one of our Elite Caterers.

What if I don't want any food or beverage, can I just rent the building?

You may rent the facility without ordering food or beverage.

Do you require a deposit?

A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 of the rental fee will confirm the desired space for your use. Final payment is due 10 days prior to day of event.

How can I pay for my event?

We accept cash, check, and Visa/MasterCard/Discover/Amex for events. Corporate clients may be direct billed with prior approval.

Where can my guests park?

DS Event Center has 500 parking spaces reserved for our guests at no extra charge.

Who will help plan my event?

Additional event planner consultation is available from DS Event Center for $50/hour or you can use your own event planner!! Your event planner will discuss and help you choose the right menu and assist with seating arrangements, decorations, and the timing of events. He or she may also refer you to several vendors who have shown success in the past for decorations, audio/video needs, and entertainment.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation of contracted services will be subject to loss of deposit of $1000.

Do you offer complimentary taste testing?

Yes, our preferred caterers offer one complimentary taste testing for most upcoming events. Please initiate your request for a tasting with your sales person.

What days of the week is DS Event Center open?

DS Event Center is available for rental 7 days/week, with most of our bookings for Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.

Do you have a liquor license?

DS Event Center has an event hosting license that will enable our guests to provide either their own hosted bar or we will provide a cash bar or hosted bar through one of our liquor companies for your event.

Do you have décor?

Please see your sales person with any questions you have regarding décor for your event.

Do you provide rentals?

Rental prices include the set up and tear down of DS Event Center’s tables and chairs. If the client requests additional or specialty tables, chairs, linens and similar, the client will be responsible for all rental and setup & tear down fees. If space is available, additional time for set and strike may be approved, subject to an additional cost for rental fees, labor and security.

Can we arrive early to set up for our event?

Events up to 8 hours, which includes 2 hours setup and 1 hour tear down. Additional time subject to availability. Rental fee also includes event coordinator initial consultation, maximum 10 hours on-site supervision, set up, use, and tear down of existing inventory of tables and chairs.

Are gratuities included in the cost of my event?

Any tips and gratuities are not required and are at the sole discretion of the client.

What additional charges may appear on my final invoice?

ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT & INVENTORY:
Podium – $50
Staging – $40 per 4×8 section (skirting included)
Projector – $150
*Any rental of AV equipment must require a DS Event Center AV technician – $50 per hour
EVENT:
Emcee/Interactive Entertainment/DJ Service: $800 for 4 hours; $100 per hour for each additional hour [includes use of in house state-of-the-art sound & lighting systems]
Dance Instructor: $150 per hour per instructor
Dance Performances: price based on selected performance
Other: Bands, Musicians, Comedian, Celebrity speakers, etc. at market price.
